Nibblins offers a number of different styles of cooking classes.
ADULT HANDS ON - This style allows you to be directly involved in many aspects of the recipes. Prep work may have been completed prior to class, but the majority will be accomplished in teams. Each participant will enjoy a generous taste of every dish.
CHILD HANDS ON - The style allows the child to be directly involved in many aspects of the recipes where it is age appropriate. Some prep work may have been completed prior to class and the child will not be given tools or equipment that is not age appropriate, but the majority of the work will be accomplished in teams of students. The children will work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
DEMONSTRATION - This style allows you to sit back and enjoy the "demonstration" or "presentation" by the chef/instructor. Attendees are not included in the preparation of the recipes for these menus. The chef/instructor manages the flow of the class and the production of the meal along with our assistants. Every effort is given to allow for a break in the middle of class.
INTERACTIVE DEMONSTRATION - This style of class allows you to be as involved in the cooking process as you would like. You are treated as the chef/instructor's assistant. Each menu is structured to accommodate some food preparation by the students. Many of the recipes will already have some ingredients prepared. This style allows you to mingle a bit more and interact with other students. Most of Nibblins cooking classes fall under this style.
SKILLS BUILDING - This style is the same as hands-on but is more skills and techniques oriented. It is less about the food you prepare and more about the skills that are being taught.
PRIVATE PARTIES AND CORPORATE EVENTS - This style of class may be customized to meet the unique needs of your group. We can adjust menus and styles based on what you want to accomplish. Armed with recipes and ingredients, adult groups or parents and children can work together as a team to create their own culinary masterpieces.
HEIR AND A PARENT - This style is the Nibblins' equivalent of a "Mommy and Me Class". Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or care givers can take a specialized cooking class with the junior chef in their life. Armed with recipes and ingredients, parents and their children work together in a team with others to create their own culinary masterpieces.
TEA - Nibblins teas are demonstration classes that are designed to provide attendees with menu suggestions to hold teas of their own. Attendees will sip on teas of their choice whilethe chef/instructor prepares the recipes. Time will be made at the end of the class for generous tastes of recipes prepared.
All styles receive types recipes for note taking and feature preparation of each dish.
